I. Introduction:
The on load tap changer test instrument can record switch operation waveform in overall process. The longest time is 6.4s.It can test various parameters such as transition waveform, transition time, transition resistance and three phase synchronization one time and analyze results automatically. It has power-off protection, over-voltage protection, perpetual clock and high-speed printing.
II.Main Features
1. Test transformers of type Y0 Y Δ and display resistance value directly;
2. Automatically analyze waveform fault and mark the fault;
3. Automatically adjust resistance value and time range according to sampling data;
4.Transformer type Δ is able to display to synchronization status of three phase;
5. The OLTC test instrument is able to test with winding or without winding;
6. Four terminal connection mode and provide high accuracy of resistance measurement.

9. 800×480 colorized LCD with touch screen and high speed printer are designed with OLTC on load tap changer tester.

V.Opeation introduction
①.The winding of transformer could be connected in the test circuit but all the external power source should be removed before make connection with the tester and sample transformer.
②.No testing windings of transformer should be short connected to the earth grounding while the terminal O shouldn’t be connected to the earth grounding;
③. If the tap changer hasn’t been operated for a long time Please clean the oxid layer and impurity by move the tap changer multi times.
④. Please be sure that the tester has been connect to the earth grounding reliable before run the tester.
⑤. Please don’t measure more than two groups of test line in one group measurement;
⑥. It’s forbidden to cut off the test connection when tester running.
⑦.Please turn off the tester first and then remove the test connections.
